Every year down in Natchitoches they have a light festival that is on the banks of the Cane River. It was so cute. The streets are very New Orleans style and they even have "snow machines" that shoot bubbles onto the side walks. They play Christmas music and it really gets you in the mood for the holidays. Kalli had biffed it on her scooter the week before and scratched her face pretty good :( After looking at the lights we ate some meat pies and gumbo at Merci Boucoup. It was a great new family tradition.
